!!! sdrawkcab gnioG (or Going backwards!!)

I knew the day would come when I jumped on those scales only to be really devastated about my weight loss journey and Tuesday night was it. Turns out I've actually put on 2 kgs so technically now I've only lost .4kg in 6weeks. Hubby has also put on a bit, not quite as much as me and has declared that "the scales must be broken!!!!" I'd love to think so but cannot blame them, I only have myself to blame. I have had 2 very sick little kidlets over the past 2 to 3 weeks and it has certainly taken it's toll on me. There has been very little exercise and most definitely been crappy meals. Our own fault so I kind of knew it was coming. Am off to my folks place next week so hopefully I may drop some weight whilst I'm there as I won't have to cook tea - not that I do anyway - mum and dad are on the CSIRO diet so I'll be eating whatever they have and may also get a chance to go for some walks as there will be another set of hands or two to help look after these kidlets!! Fingers crossed because I really want that pedicure at 5kgs lost!!!!

I haven't forgotten you..............

OMG I knew I hadn't blogged for a while but didn't realise it was almost a month! Have had a few topsy turvy weeks regarding weight loss, have lost some, have gained some etc etc. I think I'm about 89kg at the moment, so I've put back on quite a bit. I am hoping to start boot camp this week or next with a friend which will be 2 nights a week so hopefully that might help. I find it harder to watch what I eat when hubby is at home, it's almost like a comfort thing and I slip back into comfy ways. My boobs and bum are slowly shrinking, now just got to work on the tummy and thighs! Will definitely let you know how tonight's weigh in goes........fingers crossed x

Not surprising.........

Sorry for another belated post re Monday night weigh in results, but this week both Hubby and I gained 0.7 kg. No surprises there as I didn't really do much exercise and fell off the bandwagon more than once. So now back to 1.3kg lost. Have decided to set myself a little goal to help me stay on track - Lose 5kg and book in to have a pedicure, as a little treat. My feet haven't been pampered for ages now and I really want a pedicure so now I have a goal, hopefully I can stick to it and lose some more weight. Fingers & toes crossed, mouth shut!!

A loss is still a loss.......

Belated update about weigh-in results from Monday night.......................I lost 0.9kg, and I look on it as a loss is still a loss. I've now lost 2kg to date and even though it's going to be a very long road, I must do it! Little things help keep the momentum going.........like my engagement ring fitting my finger again! It hasn't fitted me since October 2010!! So that is pretty cool. And my jeans are almost there, lose a bit of flab off my thighs and all will be sweet, no more wearing the same pants over and over again!!

Bandwagon

HELP!!!!! Today is Monday and it's weigh-in night and this week I have fallen off the bandwagon...........I gave in to temptation on Wednesday of last week and ate about 7 or 8 chocolate biscuits...............and on the weekend I didn't walk at all :( On the upside I may have lost a little weight due to Aunt Flow (what we called her in High School) but I'm doubtful. I will keep you posted................fingers and toes and arms and legs crossed xxxx

Compliments...

It's always nice to hear compliments about yourself, about the way you look or the fact that you've lost weight!! Hubby said to me the other night, as I stripped down ready for a shower, "I can tell you've lost weight". I was shocked, "Really?" I said, "How??" Men must really hate it when women ask them to explain themselves as there's really no right answer!! Hubby then said, "Well, don't take this the wrong way............(never a good line!!)..........you're getting flabby, not solid". Now I know it was meant as a compliment, and thanks Hubby I do love you, but now not only do I have to lose weight I also have to tone my flabby bits!! Which I knew I was going to have to but thought I might focus on the weight thing first!! And then my ma came down yesterday, and being a woman herself and having struggled with weight issues before, said "Gee Em, I can really tell you've started to lose a bit, you look great". Awwwh  Thanks mum!!!

Attack of the nibbles!

Is anyone out there like me? About an hour or so after tea, they head back into the kitchen in search of something else to eat, preferably on the sweet side?? Banana chips have been my saviour tonight, that and a cup of black tea. What does everyone else eat when those nibbles attack?? I'm just not quite sure fruit or muesli bars are going to cut it for me tomorrow when they creep back after tea as all the banana chips have disappeared......................
